About Signal Orchard
We design and build logistics software for the people who actually run the operation.
Our story
Signal Orchard started because we kept seeing the same problem across dozens of logistics operations: teams had data, but they couldn't see it. Order information lived in one system, delivery status in another, inventory in a third. Dispatch teams made decisions in a vacuum. Managers assembled reports manually every morning. Nothing was connected.
The software that existed either over-promised—dashboards that looked great but didn't match how work actually happened—or under-delivered: point solutions that solved one problem and created two more. We looked at the market and decided to build something different.
Signal Orchard is built by people who have lived in logistics operations, implemented enterprise software, and built data systems. We understand the messy middle of real operations: the exceptions, the communication gaps, the constraints that matter. We design software that respects that reality.
We're built for the people who actually do the work: dispatch controllers, warehouse leads, delivery drivers, and operations directors. If it doesn't make their job easier or help them make better decisions, we don't build it.
Our principles
Start with the operation, not the tool
We learn how you work before we design anything. Software should fit your operation, not the other way around.
Clarity over cleverness
A clear dashboard that you check once a day beats a clever algorithm that no one understands or trusts.
Integration, not replacement
Your ERP, WMS, and routing system are not going anywhere. We connect them and make them work together.
Outcomes over features
We measure success by what happens in your operation, not by how many features we've shipped.
Support from discovery through scale
Implementation is not a handoff. We stay engaged through launch, optimization, and the next phase of growth.
Direct, honest communication
We tell you what's realistic and what's not. No vague promises. No buzzwords masking complexity.
How we work
Discovery first
We spend time understanding your operation: your workflows, your data, your constraints, and your goals. This is not box-checking. This is foundational.
Transparent design
We share sketches and specifications early. You see the design before we build it. We iterate based on your feedback, not after go-live.
Rapid iteration
We deliver working software early and often. Regular demos, user feedback, and course corrections are built into the process. You see progress, not just promises.
Real people, real problems
We work directly with your dispatch team, warehouse leads, and operations leaders. Their feedback shapes every design decision.
Ongoing partnership
Launch is not the finish line. We stay engaged through optimization, training, and the next phase of capability as your operation evolves.
People who respect the messy middle of operations
Every person on our team has hands-on experience in logistics, dispatch, warehouse operations, or software implementation. We've lived the problems we solve.
Elena Marlowe
Founder & Chief Executive Officer
"We build for the people who actually do the work. Everything flows from that."
Elena spent 12 years in logistics operations and software implementation before founding Signal Orchard. She led operational transformation at a regional distributor, then directed consulting engagements across North American supply chains. She founded Signal Orchard to solve the visibility and coordination problems she kept seeing in the field.
Grant Holloway
VP, Product Strategy
"The best product solves a real problem the way users actually work, not the way we think they should work."
Grant led product development at a SaaS logistics platform before joining Signal Orchard. He has designed workflows for dispatch teams, warehouse operations, and executive planning across delivery networks and third-party logistics providers. He focuses on understanding customer pain points and translating them into practical, usable features.
Priya Nanduri
Director of Operational Analytics
"Data tells you what happened. Analytics tell you why it happened and what to do next."
Priya built analytics and forecasting systems for supply chain networks managing $500M+ in annual throughput. She specializes in operational scorecards, root-cause analysis, and demand forecasting. Her background spans data engineering, business intelligence, and operational consulting. She brings rigor and real-world modeling to the analytics we deliver.
Daniel Keene
Principal Solutions Architect
"Systems integration is where software meets reality. Get the architecture right and everything else gets easier."
Daniel has architected data pipelines and integrations across ERP, WMS, and TMS platforms for 20+ mid-market operators. He specializes in cloud infrastructure, API design, and middleware that lets systems talk to each other. He ensures every technical decision serves the operational goal.
Tessa Whitcomb
Head of Experience Design
"The user interface is where complexity becomes simplicity. Every pixel earns its place."
Tessa designed interfaces for dispatch teams, warehouse operations centers, and leadership dashboards. She brings user research, interaction design, and accessibility expertise. Her focus is making powerful systems usable by the people who depend on them every day, from controllers managing 50 routes to warehouse leads juggling dock scheduling.
Marcus Bellamy
Director of Implementation
"Implementation success is about people and processes first, technology second."
Marcus has led go-live efforts for enterprise software deployments at 15+ organizations. He brings change management discipline, training program design, and a relentless focus on adoption. He coordinates onboarding, change management, and the transition from old systems to new operating models.
Chloe Barrett
Lead Data Engineer
"A well-designed data pipeline is invisible to the user. That invisibility is the whole point."
Chloe brings deep expertise in streaming data pipelines, data warehouse architecture, and data quality frameworks. She has managed petabyte-scale datasets and complex real-time systems. She ensures our data foundation can scale as customers grow and can reliably power the operational insights they depend on.
Owen Carlisle
Client Support Manager
"Support is not a cost center. It is how we learn what customers need and prove the value of what we built."
Owen manages customer support, technical onboarding, and the support escalation process. He coordinates incident response and works with implementation and product teams to resolve production issues quickly. He channels customer feedback back into our product roadmap and ensures every customer gets the support they need to succeed.
